When does a project officially start?

A project starts once you've signed the Project Brief and Order Confirmation and paid the 50% deposit. Until then, no work will be scheduled. In our Process, this is the Framing phase.
What are your payment terms?

50% upfront (non-refundable) to start 50% upon completion, before handover or launch. Extra work or requests beyond the agreed scope will be quoted separately. Invoices are due within 14 days. Order online and you’ll get -10% off.
How many revision rounds are included?

Each project includes 1–2 rounds of revisions, depending on the package.
Need more changes? No problem — they’ll be billed at €160/hour, and you get a fixed cost estimate as an offer before gathering additional costs. No surprises.
Do you use third-party platforms?

Yes. We work with reliable third-party tools like:
Shopify, Printful, Printify, Squarespace, Elementor, WordPress, Chatbase, and others.
You’re responsible for any platform fees, subscriptions, or policy changes. We’ll always notify you about anything that affects your setup.
What if the platform raises its prices?

Third-party platforms can change their pricing or terms at any time. Inkmoon is not liable for those changes, but we’ll inform you immediately and help you adapt if needed. We can offer, in almost every case, a 1 month cancellation policy for your site: no vendor lock.
Who owns the finished website and brand materials?

Once the project is paid in full:
You own all the custom content and designs
Third-party licenses or templates remain under their own terms
Inkmoon may feature your project in our portfolio (unless you request otherwise)
What happens if the project is delayed?

We stick to agreed timelines, but we rely on:
Your feedback, content, and approvals
Functioning third-party platforms
Delays from your side or external tools may extend the delivery date. We’re not responsible for such delays.
What’s your cancellation policy?

The 50% deposit is non-refundable
If the project is canceled mid-way, you’ll be invoiced for any extra work completed
Projects inactive for 30+ days may be paused or archived (restart fees may apply)
Once the project is launch we can offer, in almost every cases, 1 month cancellation policy for your site: no vendor lock.
All our online subscription services are offered with a minimum 12-month commitment.
Do you offer ongoing support or maintenance?

Not by default — but we do offer it!
Ongoing support and edits are available:
As a monthly retainer, starting from 100€ / month
Or on-demand at €160/hour
Our Website-As-A-Service subscription covers ongoing support and maintenance.
Are you responsible for legal compliance like GDPR?

No. You are responsible for ensuring your website complies with:
Data privacy laws (e.g. GDPR)
Taxes, terms of sale, and other legal requirements
We can advise where needed, but legal compliance is ultimately your responsibility.
What legal terms apply?

Inkmoon operates under the laws of Finland.
Any legal matters will be handled in the courts of Helsinki, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Promotional Discounts & Referral Credits

From time to time, Inkmoon may offer referral rewards or promotional discounts to clients who:
Refer a new paying customer
Promote Inkmoon online (e.g., on social media, blogs, or YouTube)
All rewards are discretionary and must be approved by Inkmoon. Referral credits may be applied as a discount on future services, not exchanged for cash. Abuse or fraudulent referrals may void eligibility.
